Iyuzeld Fjïké-ïrd (/fjɪx/ /ɪrd/ [blunt] [lamp]) is a temperate Town located in the Kïlxcïäj Principality of the City-state of Yastas.

The name Iyuzeld Fjïké-ïrd is derived from the Gnollish language, as Iyuzeld Fjïké-ïrd was founded by Thugrer vyim Mɑnknyi, who was culturaly Gnollish.

Climate

Iyuzeld Fjïké-ïrd was founded durring the early 12th century in winter of the year 1100, by Thugrer vyim Mɑnknyi. The establishment of Iyuzeld Fjïké-ïrd suffered from several major issues, resulting in the need to develop many solutions to basic problems. Problems such as a lack of fresh water, logistical support, poor quality tools, and the odd monster or two. Howeaver, these were overcome in time.

Iyuzeld Fjïké-ïrd was built using the conventions of Gnollish durring the early 12th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Iyuzeld Fjïké-ïrd is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature waddle and daub construction with good timber frames and a stone foundation protected by thatched or shingled rooves. Most buildings with second floors are built in such a way as to overhang into the streets on the upper floors for more space, as building size seems to be the primary indicator of wealth within the community. Most buildings are not decorated with any integral features, but instead use ivy, flowers, and other natural elements in planters of on trellices to breathe life into the structure they grow upon.

Iyuzeld Fjïké-ïrd is buildings are speckled and packed arround broad flagstone streets with seemingly no patern to them. It appears as if the town's residents simply built streets as they pleased and squeazed buildings in wherever and howeave rpossible, creating an organic, frustrating to navigate, maze of a town. The town emploies a series of defencive earthworks, spikes, and fences to provide some protection against wild beasts and smaller groups of intelegent foes. Iyuzeld Fjïké-ïrd's minimaly adiquite are suffering from significent damage, so much so that examples can be pointed to no matter which section one might have within their line of site, and most of which render sections inoperable at present.

A look around Iyuzeld Fjïké-ïrd gives you an uneasy feeling. Everything is just a little too worn down, a little too dirty, or both. No one makes eye contact. Kids play quietly, but happily. Something is making the locals stay, however, whether fear of the alternative, hope for a better future, or a stubborn attachment to their ancestral lands. Whatver the reason, living in this harsh area for generations has made the people of Iyuzeld Fjïké-ïrd a notably resourceful and hearty people.

Iyuzeld Fjïké-ïrd's bank was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is best known for its functional shapes, abstract shapes used sparingly for decor, simple color schemes, holistic design, and basic industrial materials. Its simple designs were created to be beautiful, functional, and mass-producible. The style used little to no embellishment or ornamentation, instead drawing attention to the streamlined design, such as flat roofs to create a simple, geometric look. The simplicity masks the style's nearly sinister functionality, as every last feature is designed to guide the people living in the building in how to make the most efficient use of the structure.

Due to the actions of local Kami, spring is recurring in Iyuzeld Fjïké-ïrd.

The Yeti near Iyuzeld Fjïké-ïrd are known to be more aggressive than normal.

Iyuzeld Fjïké-ïrd's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in summer and involves consuming a local narcotic to channel Mysticism energies of tier 2 via speaking in tongues.

In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the early 2nd century an otherwise minor earthquake shifted Backwater Guinevere. The resulting flood was isolated to the area around Iyuzeld Fjïké-ïrd, which was swallowed by the waters for several days. Iyuzeld Fjïké-ïrd lost 163 people, 155 livestock, and 53 buildings in the disaster. The disaster is remembered as the Agony Drownings.
